Hamsa pendant handcrafted in sterling silver, featuring a 2mm lab-created sapphire. Rather than being traditionally set, the emerald is cast in place—a unique process achieved by pouring molten silver directly into the sand mold around the stone.

Why are lab-created gemstones used?
This pendant is made using the traditional sand casting technique, where molten metal is poured directly into a hand-formed sand mold. The extreme heat and pressure involved in this process can damage most natural gemstones. Lab-created stones are used because they can withstand these conditions without cracking or fracturing, making them ideal for the cast-in-place process.
