Why I do it
I started ARTEMYRA because I couldn’t find jewelry that felt both deeply symbolic and beautifully made — so I created it. Inspired by ancient motifs, protective symbols, and stories that resonate across generations, my work is a reflection of everything I believe jewelry should be: empowering, precious, and made with intention.
I grew up in Istanbul, surrounded by layers of myth, empire, and history. Some of my earliest memories are of wandering through museums, staring at ancient artifacts — amulets, seals, goddess figures — and wishing I could wear them, not just admire them behind glass. After moving to Israel, I began creating jewelry that bridges those worlds: relics made modern, rooted in story and meant to be worn.
